Hardware Build Liability Disclaimer
Last Updated: July 8, 2025
T Venture Media provides custom PC building services for local clients. While we take great care to ensure each system is built and tested to the highest standards, this disclaimer outlines our limitations of liability regarding hardware, installation, and post-delivery issues.
1. Client-Approved Parts
All components used in a PC build are:
-
Selected by the client or approved by the client before purchase
-
Purchased using client funds or reimbursed by the client
-
Covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, not by T Venture Media
We are not responsible for compatibility issues or performance dissatisfaction resulting from parts selected or approved by the client.
2. Build Warranty
T Venture Media guarantees the quality of the assembly and installation process for 7 calendar days after delivery/pickup. During this time, we will fix any build-related errors at no additional charge.
This limited warranty does not cover:
-
Defective parts
-
Software issues
-
Damage from client handling, transport, improper setup, or power surges
3. Manufacturer Warranties
Each part is subject to the warranty provided by the manufacturer. Clients are responsible for:
-
Registering their components (if applicable)
-
Keeping original receipts and product packaging
-
Initiating and handling RMA (return merchandise authorization) claims
T Venture Media can assist with RMA support for an added fee.
4. Shipping and Transport
If a PC build is damaged during client pickup, transport, or shipping (if arranged), T Venture Media is not liable for any cosmetic or functional issues that arise.
We recommend clients transport PCs upright and with care to avoid jostling internal components.
5. Software & Operating System
T Venture Media can assist with OS installation, drivers, and basic setup, but we are not responsible for:
-
Licensing or activation of operating systems/software
-
Post-delivery software issues, crashes, or data loss
Clients are encouraged to install antivirus and perform regular backups.
6. Overclocking & Modifications
Any post-delivery modifications (e.g., overclocking, hardware swaps, BIOS updates) void all support and warranty coverage from T Venture Media.
7. Liability Waiver
By agreeing to a PC build through T Venture Media, the client acknowledges that:
-
All hardware carries risk of manufacturer defect or future failure
-
T Venture Media is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or malfunction of the PC
-
The client assumes full responsibility for maintenance, usage, and future upgrades
